If you are looking for Eastern North Carolina's Premier Puppy Trainers look no further. Devoting most of the last decade to working with and studying puppies. Our approach focuses on shaping how we live with our puppy. It's time to stop managing your pup and start living your best lives together. Ranging from two weeks to two months or more our puppy training lays the crucial foundation necessary for a well-behaved adult dog. We focus on crate training, housebreaking/ potty training, socialization, obedience, name recognition, handling, creating routines, house and leash manners, and more!
We train puppies as early as 8 weeks, all the way up to their first birthday! Don't worry we have programming for older pups too!
BOARD & TRAIN PROGRAM

An intensive two week to two month long program. Your dog will come stay in our home where we will spend every day in a highly regimented training program. Under constant supervision, your dog will come home having learned many basic commands and be on a fast track to becoming the well-behaved dog you want him to be!
5 SESSION TRAINING PACKAGE

$300- FIVE (5), 60 MINUTE SESSIONS
This package includes five (5), 60-minute sessions. Following this clients can choose to purchase additional packages or purchase individual sessions. For new owners, this package also includes a free consultation before your first session!
BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION TRAINING PACKAGE
$350- FIVE, 45 TO 60 MINUTE SESSIONS
Our behavior modification and consulting work involves an intimate understanding of your animal’s natural and individual history. Together we will lay the foundation for you to build upon to modify long-term behavioral issues. By combining your needs and wants with the natural attributes of your pet, we work together to change some of the toughest problematic behaviors.
This five-session package can address a broad range of issues. Common issues include; excessive barking, biting, chewing, marking, anxiety, fear, aggression, or antisocial behaviors. This training always takes more time and success depends on what/how severe the problem is and how well owners implement training at home.  We believe that with enough dedication and focus almost ALL behaviors can be altered enough to bring a more harmonious balance to your home.
LOOSE -LEASH WORKSHOP (PRIVATE)
$200 - 2.5 HOUR PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL SESSION.
This 2.5 hour workshop gives you all the tools necessary to change you and your dog's walking habits. We focus on providing the techniques necessary to change your leash habits and stop pulling. You will walk away with a new found confidence and a strong foundation that you can easily use at home. This is an intensive, individual workshop done with both our trainers in order to provide as much information as possible. Attendees will leave with a guide to follow alongside practical exercises to be done at home, further reinforcing the training. Also provided is an opportunity to test a variety of training collars on top of teaching you how to properly use and fit them. By finding what works, we will be saving you the hassle of unnecessarily spending money on tools that might not suit your dog. If walks have become a constant struggle for you, if you find yourself walking your pup(s) less often from frustration or even if you are a new owner wanting to start out strong this is the workshop for you! Workshop is limited to owners and maximum of two dogs per workshop.

SERVICE DOG TRAINING PACKAGE

$350- FIVE (5), 60 MINUTE SESSIONS
We will work to not only train your dog in basic service dog tasks but highly specialized tasks as well. Service Dog Certification is also offered. Basic obedience is a prerequisite for service dog training. Owners training outside of Simply Balanced K9 will be required to pass our proficiency test before being accepted.
THERAPY/EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TRAINING PACKAGE

$350 FIVE (5), 60 MINUTE SESSIONS
Therapeutic dog training assists those struggling with a variety of mental health conditions, including, dementia and Alzheimer's, depression, PTSD, autism, and anxiety. By teaching the dog to be a calm, supportive presence therapy dogs can greatly improve the handler's quality of life. Basic obedience is a prerequisite for service dog training. Those with prior training outside of SBK9 will need to pass a proficiency exam before starting training. Certification is also available for qualified individuals.
BEHAVIOR/TRAINING CONSULTATION

$85 - 90 MINUTE COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING OVERVIEW
As Wilson's premier family dog trainers, we're here to help with all your dog training needs. If you need help with specific commands, or behavioral issues or just want assistance developing a training regiment our training and behavior consultation is a great option. We will spend the session reviewing your current situation and then create a targeted, easy-to-implement personalized training plan to fit your pet’s needs and your lifestyle. We also offer a discount to anyone who decides to sign up for our five-session training package during the consultation. The session can be done at our home, virtually, or at a place of your choosing. This consultation does not include any hands-on work with your pup. It is purely informational.
AKC CANINE GOOD CITIZEN AND S.T.A.R. PUPPY COURSES

The S.T.A.R. Puppy Course
The Canine Good Citizen Program teaches good manners to dogs as well as, responsible dog ownership to their owners. The 10 item, non-competitive test is for all dogs, including purebreds and mixed breeds. It is a prerequisite for many therapy dog groups. Some homeowner's insurance companies encourage CGC testing, and many landlords may be more inclined to rent to an owner of a controversial breed if that dog has achieved this certification.
As registered AKC Evaluators. We offer specific pre-test training for both levels, as well as the actual testing; with a curriculum designed to achieve test requirements. All training is private 1:1 training, done in the comfort of your or our home.
